AM/MEX CH Moonlight's Gypsy Queen

Queen is show above winning a Group II under Judge Arley Hussin.

Queen took a trip to Mexico and earned her Mexican championship...
and on the way won a Group II placement.

Queen earned ALL of her points at Akita Specialties.

Thank you to the judges who awarded her points from the bred-by class.
Queen is Moonlight's FIFTH generation of Akitas--I'm very proud of her.

Queen winning a Group II under breeder judge Beverly Vics.  Show Chair Dr. Sophisa Kaluzniacki.

At 7 1/2 months old, Queen won Winners Bitch and Best of Winners (four point major)
from the bred-by class under breeder judge Lynn Doran
during the Akita Club of America Regional Specialty
sponsored by the Heart of Texas Akita Club in Ft. Worth, Texas on March 25, 2005.
This was her first show.

Queen attended her second show at the Akita Club of America's Specialty sponsored by the Land of Enchantment Akita Club in Albuquerque, New Mexico.  Queen was awarded Winners Bitch (two points) under Mrs. Joan Frailey.  Also pictured is my friend Fran Kanipe who was the show chairman for the LOEAC sponsored specialty, it was a black and white day.

Special thanks to Ree Keca for providing me this ringside snapshot.
Unfortunately none of her national "official" photos were particularly good.

Queen is shown above at the 2005 Akita National, standing naturally with the most awesome Akita handler that exists, Mrs. Rusty Short.  Queen was definitely the crowd favorite as she showed herself time and time again to be a "hands not required" show girl.  I thank every single person that complimented Queen and offered to take her home with them and everyone that provided the great applause and cheering.  She is a breeder's dream girl, one that I knew was special at 6 weeks old and its awesome to have so many breed experts (ringside spectators) confirm my opinion of my Queenie--Thank YOU for thinking highly of my girl and making me realize that I wasn't a breeder wearing rose colored glasses when it comes to evaluating Queen and thinking so highly of her.

Queen's 2005 National Wins:
Rusty showed Queen and they won Best in Sweepstakes under breeder judge Terrie Breen.
Rusty and Queen also won Grand Futurity under breeder judge Janet Voss.
I showed Queen to win 2nd in Bred-by Class under breeder judge Dr. Sophia Kaluzniacki.
THANK YOU judges for awarding Queen her wins at her first Akita National.

Judge Jon Cole gave Queen a FIVE POINT MAJOR AND FIRST AWARD OF MERIT at the Golden Gate Akita Club Specialty on February 19, 2006.  Amber Hines is holding the trophy, Cindy Hines' daughter -- my good friends at Kicho Na Akitas.

Queen also won Best in Sweepstakes under breeder judge Laurie Ottow on February 18th.  Also pictured is Kristina Rickard (my buddy Nener) holding the trophy, she is Tom and Lori Rickard's daughter -- my good friends at Dream Hi Akitas.

In Denver on February 16, 2006 at the Rocky Mountain Akita Club Specialty,
Queen won Best in Sweepstakes, breeder judge Coleman Nemerov.
She also won Reserve Winners Bitch under Judge Keke Kahn.

Queen is shown above winning Winners Bitch, Best of Winners and Best of Opposite Sex (two points) at the Akita Club of Tampa Bay Specialty in July 2006 under Breeder Judge Beverly Vics.
Queen was wearing her summer clothes...

Queen is shown below winning Best in Sweepstakes under Breeder Judge Patricia Gilliard.

Queen is shown below finishing her championship at the Rocky Mountain Akita Club Specialty on August 18, 2006 by winning Winners Bitch and Best of Winners for a five point major under breeder Judge Dr. Rebecca Kestle, DVM.
