Interested in a Moonlight Akita Puppy or Adult?
"Max" is a neutered black/red brindle self-masked male with
lots of white born on January 29, 1997. At 28 inches tall and approximately 120
pounds--he is a BIG boy. He has a good disposition and likes to carry big sticks in
his mouth. Max needs a home without other pets and young children. He is very
affectionate and likes lots of attention. He is completely house trained and would
make an excellent companion for a single person. He is somewhat alpha and would do
best with someone with alpha experience. Below are some candid shots.

is four years old. She is a sweet white spayed female that is house trained and
good with medium sized dogs. She loves children and is great in the house. This
lovely girl hopes to make a family very happy. She loves to sleep on the bed or lay
on the couch and watch television. She truly enjoys human companionship, loves to be
petted and give hugs and kisses. |

give you a referral to another reputable Akita Breeder with puppies at this time.

At Moonlight, Akitas are occasionally available to qualified homes.

The average price for a Moonlight Akita is $300 - $800 for a companion (spay or
neutered required) and $800 - $1,500 for a show prospect. The price is always somewhat
negotiable depending on terms and personal arrangements. The purchaser pays all
transportation expenses.

Pedigree, OFA Certificate and Eye Certification are available upon request.

If you are interested in providing an home for a rescue Akita, please contact the Land
of Enchantment Akita Club - Rescue Group. The Akitas that are available truly need a great
loving home. Please direct your RESCUE inquiries ONLY to Sue Behling (505)
265-1699 in Albuquerque. I cannot not assist you--or answer any questions
concerning a Rescue Akita, but Sue would be more than happy to inform you of what is
available. The average cost of a Rescue Akita is $50 - $200 depending on the
situation.
